Our computer graphics and image processing laboratory was launched in 1992. Prof. Yeong-Gil Shin has been leading the research for 18 years. Our research area is mainly 3D visualization and image processing. We have researched various graphical algorithms and applications.

 We have published many research papers on outstanding journals, and acquired a few of international patents. We have successfully co-worked with many academic institutes including Washington University, Chicago University, George Washington University, KAIST, Soongshil University, Inha University, Ewha Womans University and Yonsei University.

 Based on these researches, we made medical visualization software working effectively on PC environment. These products were commercialized by one of the leading ventures, INFINITT Co.. These products gave competitive advantage against expensive products of GE, Siemens, and Philips.
